Noe Blend
Full Home Remodel | Noe Valley, San Francisco
This project involved remodeling the top two floors of a three-story single-family home in San Francisco’s Noe Valley neighborhood to better support the needs of a family of four.
On the second floor, we focused on reworking the rear of the home, where previous remodels had disrupted the original character and created awkward connections between spaces. We removed walls and shifted openings to create a more functional kitchen and media room with views to the rear yard, and added a powder room off the entry hall.
On the third floor, we reconfigured existing closets and a bathroom to create two full bathrooms and a more efficient layout, along with a new laundry closet.
Additional updates included a new stair railing spanning all three levels, replaced windows and doors, custom built-ins, and refinished flooring throughout.
Throughout the project, we carefully matched original architectural details such as coved ceilings and wood floor patterns to maintain the character of the home.
The result is a cohesive and functional space that feels aligned with the original architecture while supporting the needs of a modern family.
